Skidaway Island State Park - Savannah, Georgia
This SP has 87 campsites. Each site is fairly level and easily accessible for large rigs. The pads are a mixture of sand and gravel but mostly sand. There are plenty of trees to provide shade from the scorching summer sun. The park staff is great. Located south of Savannah, this park is easy to get to. The trickiest part was being in the correct right-hand lane to make the turn on to Waters Avenue. Once you make this turn, it is a straight shot to the park. This was a wonderful place to be central to the activities of Tybee Island and the Riverfront in Savannah. We will definitely come back again!
