The Moose was a 1984 Starcraft Galaxy 24.  We purchased her used and unloved in December of 2001.  We set to work to completely rebuild her...kind of like the Bionic Woman.  When we were finished, she was a work of art (in my opinion).  The only things that were original when we finished were the frame, outside skin, and the AC.  This was quite the learning experience as far as camper construction goes.  I was not impressed with the minimal amount of material used in the construction of the cabinets...but when everything is put together, the unit is very strong!

Above is the day we brought her home...not much to look at and dig that early eighties plaid!

This was truly a labor of love and enjoyed every minute of it.  We started demolition in January 2002 and our Maiden Voyage was Mid-April 2002 at Georgia Veteran's State Park.
